Season 2 (2016)
In season two, Angie Tribeca and the detectives of the LAPD investigate the murder of a sushi chef, the death of the “bad boy” in a boy band who gets decapitated by a t-shirt cannon and a band of drug-dealing lifeguards. Then, they tackle a difficult case with the help of a romance novelist.

Tensions flare between Tribeca and Scholls after the skull of a missing sushi chef is fished out of the ocean. Why? Because they're in a love triangle with Geils. It actually has very little to do with the case.

Geils goes undercover as a lifeguard after a string of suspicious drownings, but Tribeca is worried that he's getting in too deep.

Tribeca believes that a 102-year-old's death isn't as natural as everyone thinks, but her concerns aren't heard because of her probation.
|Episode 6 Organ Trail (2016-07-11)
Atkins assigns a romance novelist to aid Geils and Tribeca in their attempt to bust an organ thief at a local hospital. Why? Why not? Does anything have to make sense anymore? Or can shows just do whatever they want with no explanation?
|Episode 7 Boyz II Dead (2016-07-18)
Geils and Tanner investigate the mysterious death of a reunited boy band member while Tribeca finally meets with Sgt. Pepper. Why? Seemingly, he's connected to Mayhem Global, but what is Mayhem Global and why do they keep bringing it up?
|Episode 8 The Coast is Fear (2016-07-25)
A member of the Coast Guard is murdered, and somehow Tribeca and Geils connect it to Mayhem Global. Why? What is the point of all of this? What is it all leading to?
|Episode 9 Contains Graphic Designer Violence (2016-08-01)
When a graphic designer is found dead, all evidence points to Tribeca. Why?! What does it mean?! It's just needless cliffhanger after needless cliffhanger with absolutely no accountability for narrative satisfaction!
|Episode 10 Electoral Dysfunction (2016-08-08)
The thrilling conclusion to Season 2. Every question answered. Every twist explained. A logically and emotionally gratifying finale that is sure to silence all critics and guarantee a third season.
